Elmer (Willie) Moses Williams, Jr., 77, of Valdosta, passed peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Langdale Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 27, 1946, in Carrolton, Georgia to the late Elmer Sr., and Pauline McKenzie Williams. Mr. Willie, also known as Junior to many, was retired from the Coor’s Brewing Company having worked in sales. He was an avid golfer, loved woodworking, and was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Williams of Valdosta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Jeramie Cheshire of Jennings, Florida, and Ashley and Justin Watson of Canton, Georgia; grandchildren and their spouses, Brooke and Damon Evans, Blaire and Lloyd Herford, Robert Jr. (Wil) and Ashlie Larimore, Sydney Garcia, Tyler Cheshire, and Averi Gravitt; seven great-grandchildren.
