Elizabeth "Liz" Farr Latuch, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. Born in Anniston, Alabama, on September 19, 1946, Liz was a daughter of the late George Richard Farr and Bessie Belle Waldrop Farr.

At the age of eight, Liz moved with her family to Tampa, Florida, where she later met the love of her life, Al Latuch. The couple married on November 24, 1963, beginning a lifelong journey marked by love, commitment, and devotion. Liz followed Al through various duty stations during his 20-year career in the United States Air Force, ultimately settling in Brandon, Florida, upon his retirement.

Liz was a cornerstone of her family and community, known lovingly as the neighborhood mom who delighted in baking and caring for those around her. Her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on friends and family alike. After spending over a decade in Kansas in the early 2000s, Liz and Al moved to Valdosta in 2015, where they enjoyed their later years surrounded by loved ones.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Al Latuch of Valdosta; her daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Tony Wrestler of Hahira, and Windy and Ted Taylor of Valdosta; and her son, Donnie Latuch of Wichita, Kansas. Liz was a proud grandmother to Shawn Latuch, BJ Hughes, Travis Hughes, Tony Wrestler, Brian Wrestler, Whitney Wrestler, Adam (and Rachel) Taylor, Brett (and Miranda) Taylor, Erika Taylor, Kasey (and Jeremy) Chavarria, Lindsey (and David Wilfong) Taylor, Vanessa Latuch, and Olivia Latuch; and a great-grandmother to 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Beatrice and Gene Degale, Mary and Mike, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives who will fondly remember her.

Liz was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ted, Dickie, and Larry, and her sisters Alice and Fran.

A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Pastor Jeff Ford will officiate. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclanecares.com.
