Edwin Collier Brown, III, left this world Tuesday, May 12,2026 surrounded by family and loved ones. Collier was born to Janice and Edwin Collier Brown, II on November 6, 1954 and raised with his sister Jan Schert on the Westside of Jacksonville. After graduating from Forrest High School in 1972, Collier worked in construction, Volunteer Fire Department and also alongside his father at Corner Oaks Garden. Collier remained in Jacksonville until later moving to Taylor County where he found his own piece of heaven, a cabin surrounded by wildlife for the avid outdoorsman that he was.

He is survived by his loving children: Tanya Sikes (Will), Collier Brown, IV (Patricia), Brent Brown (Mariela), Amy Hughes (Chris) along with his special grandchildren: Taylor Raye & Tanner Sikes, Austin, Wyatt & Josie Brown, Brentin Brown, Carson Yearwood.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life for Collier at a later date when the family can all be together.
