Edward Allen Wooldridge

Edward (Ed) Wooldridge, 67, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at his residence following a period of declining health.  He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Drema Wooldridge Morgan.  Mr. Wooldridge was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had worked as a millwright with Langboard.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member and church trustee for First Church of Clyattville.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Wooldridge of Valdosta; his children and their spouses, Travis and Diana Wooldridge, and Taylor and Hannah Wooldridge all of Hahira, Casey and Mackay Cate of St. Simons Island and Chance and Taylor Copeland of North Dakota; his grandchildren, Copeland Cate, Mackay Cate, Cannon Cate, Lilianne Wooldridge, and Stetson Wooldridge. He is also survived by his brother Frank Morgan, of Maryland, and sister-in-law Donna Jones. Ed was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Vera Colwell, father-in-law, Pete Williams, and brother Johnny Wooldridge. 

A memorial service for Ed Wooldridge will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the First Church of Clyattville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11am.
