Dorothy Mary (Grandma Dot) Estevez

Dorothy (Grandma Dot) Mary Estevez, 90, of Valdosta, died at South Georgia Medical Center on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, following a lengthy illness. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 7, 1926, she was formerly of Tampa, Florida where she was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She had made her home in Valdosta since 2000. Fondly known as Grandma Dot, Dorothy was a homemaker, widow of the late Marco A. Estevez and a member of St. Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, William and Mary Hess of Middleburg, Florida, Thomas and Ellen Hess of Valdosta; grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Hess of South Carolina, Jamie and Joshua Hess-Murphy of Jacksonville, Florida, Mary Hess of Columbia, Missouri, Suzane and Tavio Rodriguiz of Sarasota, Florida; great grandchildren, Aurora Rogue, Octavio Rodriguiz, Alyssa Rodriguiz, Alani Lynn, Rebekah Lynn, Makenzi Wilson and Jordan Murphy.
