Doris Wylene Yawn Taylor

Doris Wylene Yawn Taylor, 87, of Quitman, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Fellowship Home. She was born in Douglas, GA on March 9, 1933 to the late Calvin and Sarah Elizabeth Merritt Yawn. Mrs. Taylor loved Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and enjoyed crossword puzzles and word searches. Mrs. Taylor spent her whole life in the grocery business and she retired from Harvey’s after 25 years. She loved her family dearly. She was a member of Cristo Mi Roca Church.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughter Michelle Rogers, and granddaughter Taylor Rogers, both of Quitman, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James E. Taylor, her parents, and twelve brothers and sisters.
