Doris Elizabeth "Beth" Gross

Doris Elizabeth “Beth” Gross, 77, of Valdosta, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Born in Valdosta, on March 24, 1947, Beth was a daughter of the late Richard and Alimae Sasser Johnson. She began her real estate career at Mike Bajalia Real Estate was there for 10 years before going to work for the Herndon Company for over 25 years. Beth had been a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. 

Beth is survived by her husband, Charles Gross of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Shari and Scott Shiffer of Greenville, South Carolina; son, Christopher Gross of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Hannah Gross, Meghan Gross, Ashley Shiffer, Matthew Shiffer and Garrett Shiffer. Also surviving are her siblings, Debbie (Bobby) Cernoch, Dick (Karen) Johnson, and Laura Croft. 

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7pm at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
