Donnie Murray

Donnie Murray, 67, of Valdosta died on Thursday, April 4,2024 at home. He was born on November 21, 1956, to the late Donald and Mary Lou Murray in Adel. Mr. Murray was an avid Florida State University Seminole and Valdosta Wildcats fan. If he wasn’t supporting his favorite teams, you could often find him riding golf carts or traveling around Jekyll Island. However, his favorite pass time was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Murray of Valdosta; son, Joseph (Deena) Charron of Valdosta; step-daughter, Jennie Anderson of Royal Oak, MI; mother-in-law, Mildred Tucker of Quitman; granddaughters, Courtney Simpson of Stone Mountain, Skylar Griner of Valdosta; great-granddaughter, whom he adored, Emerson Vaughn of Valdosta; sister-in-law, Tine Tucker of Hazel Park, MI; niece, Brooke Singletary of Royal Oak, MI; nephew, Brad (Alyssa) Singletary of Chattanooga, TN; great niece, Cameron Singletary of Chattanooga, TN; special friends, Flyth brothers and Skeet Range Road family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Murray; father-in-law, John Tucker; and brother-in-law, Ron Tucker.
