Donald Richard Lanier, 63, of Lake Park, Georgia, and recently of Pineview, Georgia, passed from this life on January 30, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on August 15, 1962, Donald was the beloved son of the late Marion Doggett and Pinckney Kirkland Lanier III.

Survivors are his siblings, Mike (Debbie) Lanier of Newnan, Georgia, Patricia Buckley of Jennings, Florida, Ginny Lanier of Miami, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sharon Walters and a brother, Pete Lanier.

Family and friends will gather for a graveside service on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Oak Ridge cemetery in Madison, Florida where Donald will be laid to rest next to his father. The Carson McLane Funeral Home has been entrusted to care for the Lanier family.
