Deborah Jean Nawolski

Deborah Jean Nawolski, 72, of Valdosta, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Born in Northampton, Massachusetts on December 29, 1951 to the late Jean and Mitchell Koldy Sr.

Debbie was known to be a thoughtful and generous gift giver. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and had a deep love for the ocean. She was a voracious reader with an extensive knowledge of medical-related topics. Debbie was an owner/operator of Nutri-System for eleven years and enjoyed her time as a professional caretaker for Home Instead. She and her husband Lou were married for 51 years.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Lou Nawolski of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Heather Nawolski (Scott) Giannunzio of Green Bay, Wisconsin; son, Corey Nawolski of Valdosta; grandchildren, Georgia Giannunzio and Gianah Giannunzio of Green Bay, Wisconsin; siblings and their spouses, Mitchell (Joselyn) Koldy Jr. of Sunderland, Massachusetts; Susan Hoffer of Stuart, Florida; Sandy (Jay) Boot of Venice, Florida; Cindy (Dennis) Berry of Sunderland, Massachusetts; Brenda McCormick of Boston, Massachusetts and her very best friend Charlie Harrison of Valdosta. She is preceded in death by her parents.
