David Sheldon Epler, Sr.

David Sheldon Epler, Sr., 59, of Valdosta died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at his residence. He was born on January 13, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Emerson Sheldon Epler and Mary Nell Bennett Epler. David was a plumber, enjoyed working, fishing and being a handyman.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Barnard, son, Sheldon Epler, Jr. daughter and son in law, Alicia and Michael Henderson, son, Adam Epler, grandchildren, MacKenzye Epler, Brayden Epler, Summer Epler, Hayden Brevig, Erin Epler and Averie Epler, brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Annette Epler, sister, Sibyl Dillon and brother and sister-in-law, Dewayne and Ginger Johnson, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Minister Michael Henderson will officiate. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
