David Leon Parker, born December 3, 1946, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025. A lifelong lover of the outdoors, David was a devoted family man who treasured the simple joys of life.
David was born in Dothan, AL and raised in Taylor, AL, where he developed a love for fishing, especially in the waters of Eufaula, AL. He enjoyed the game of golf and took great pride in maintaining a neat and tidy yard, finding peace and purpose in working outdoors.
After graduating from Auburn University and starting a family, he moved to Albany, GA where he worked as an accountant for Firestone Tire. After his retirement, David and Jan moved to Valdosta, Georgia, embracing family life with warmth and devotion.
David's legacy is one of dedication, care, and a connection to family and nature. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
