David Lee Keiser, 68, of Valdosta, Georgia, died on Tuesday April 28, 2026 at the South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on February 2, 1958 to Maynard Hardwick and Doris Keiser Morrison, Illinois where he grew up. Mr. Keiser was raised alongside his sister by the family on his uncle’s side; they played an important role in both their lives and salvation, which was a huge part of Mr. Keiser’s life. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and often sang in the choir.
Mr. Keiser initially met his wife, Rebecca, online, and proposed to her shortly after visiting the Philippines to meet her. Mr. Keiser initially moved to the Philippines, before he and Rebecca decided to make the US their home.
Trains and motorcycles were huge passions of his, and he loved spending time collecting model trains and taking his children to see trains. They would also often ride and work on motorcycles together. Mr. Keiser owned and operated a body shop in Illinois.
Mr. Keiser is survived by his wife, Rebecca Keiser, of Valdosta, GA; his children, Stephen A. Eade of Bourbonnais, IL, Christine Claire Suya Keiser, David Matthew Suya Keiser, and Christian Mark Suya Keiser, all of Valdosta, GA; his sisters, Debora (Anderson) Pickles, of Mt. Carol, IL, Beth (Jim) Nelson, Robin (John) Martin, and Lynn Allabaugh, all of Rockford, IL; his aunt, Carolyn Kosier; many Sour, Kosier, and Hill relatives; and many family members in the Philippines.
A service for Mr. Keiser, held by his family, will be held on Monday May 4th at 4 p.m. at the Dasher Community Center, and officiated by Robbie Herrington. Condolences may be shared online at www.mclanecares.com. McLane Lakewood.
