David Lee Butler

David Lee Butler, 61, of Valdosta died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 of injuries received in a vehicular accident. Born on July 14, 1954 in Three Rivers, Michigan to Sarah Thompson and the late Marion Butler, he was a United States Army Veteran and had received The Army Commendation Medal. Mr. Butler was retired from Boeing and was employed by Flash Foods.
Surviving Mr. Butler is a daughter and son-in-law, Denise Norris (Chris) of Tallahassee, FL; mother, Sarah Thompson of Valdosta; two grandchildren, Rainier Norris and Mariner Norris both of Tallahassee, FL; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Bill Butler of Corona, CA; Hugh Timmons (Wusoon) Renton, WA; and Harry Timmons of Valdosta:
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Willis officiating.
