David Kelly, Sr.

David Kelly, Sr., 62, of Nashville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 5, 2013, at his home.

He was born September 13, 1950 in Sunny South, Alabama. David honorably served in Viet Nam with the United States Marine Corps, and for many years had been employed at Winnersville Roofing.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Kelly of Nashville; six daughters, Christina Hatcher of Valdosta, Samantha Kelly and fiancé Johnathan Keen of Ray City, Saprina Evans and husband Trey of Ray City, Amanda Clark and husband Michael of Nashville, Elizabeth Kelly of Nashville, and Wendy Kelly and fiancé Kenny Brewer of Nashville; one son, David Kelly, Jr. of Nashville; twelve grandchildren; and his canine companion, Sam. He was preceded in death by his parents, LaRue and Jimmie Lou Carter.

A graveside service for Mr. Kelly will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Riverview Memorial Gardens.
