Dale Morris Tucker

Dale Morris Tucker, 91, of Valdosta, died on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Holly Hill Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was born on December 20, 1931, in Jesup to the late Frank C. and Nellie Ruth Dukes Morris. Mrs. Tucker grew up in Jesup and was a military wife for 20 years living in Georgia, Florida, California, and Illinois. She had served as the office manager for Dr. Anthony Garcia and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Tucker is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Leon Tucker, and her son, Joey Tucker all of Valdosta; a granddaughter-in-law, Katie Perkerson (husband Michael) and her daughter Callie Rouse (David’s daughter) of Marietta; her granddaughter and her husband, Beth and Joshua Prince of Valdosta; her great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Prince, Jonah Prince, Joseph Prince; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lott Tucker; her grandson, David Rouse; her brothers, Colvin Morris, Elwyn Morris, Wiley Morris and Frank (Brownie) Morris, and a sister, Dorothy Smith.

Services for Dale Morris Tucker will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2023, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. The burial will be in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane.
