Crystal Marie Stringham Gorman

Crystal Marie Stringham Gorman, 22, of Valdosta, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at South Georgia Medical Center.

Crystal was born December 7, 1988 in Kunsan, South Korea, a daughter of John Leonard Stringham, Sr. and Kyong Mi Kim Stringham. She attended Valdosta City Schools and graduated from Valdosta High School with the Class of 2007, and was currently attending Valdosta State University. Crystal was employed as a clerk at the Shell station at exit 16.

She is survived by her husband, USAF SrA Roderick L. Gorman of Moody AFB, Valdosta; her daughter, Naomi Kim Sluss of Valdosta; her parents, John L. Stringham, Sr. and Kyong Mi Stringham of Valdosta; brother, John L. Stringham, Jr. and wife Adrienne of Valdosta; sister, Jennifer Ann Stringham of CA; brother, Christopher John Stringham of CA; her paternal grandmother, Evelyn Lehman of Lake Park; and an aunt, Joanne Rose Davis and husband Johnnie of CA.

Funeral Services for Crystal will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2011, at the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home, with Chaplain Larry Fowler officiating. Crystal's family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, prior to the services.
