Born in San Antonio, TX to the late Ralph & Ruth Ann Richardson, Connie grew up in Homestead, FL and graduated from South Dade High School in 1976. After she graduated from high school, she began working at Jefferson’s Department Store, and during this same time, she met Ricardo Vielmas, a young Airman in the USAF. The Vielmas family spent the next 20 years planting churches in Texas, Mexico and in Gainesville, GA. They moved to Valdosta in 2008 and continued their ministry. Connie taught Sunday School for 35 years and she also went on several mission trips to the Dominican Republic and to the Amazon in Peru. She was a member of Redland Baptist Church.
