Catherine Stewart Young

Catherine Stewart Young, 88, of Fayetteville, formerly of College Park, died on Tuesday, September 12, 2006. Mrs. Young was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in College Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max P. Young.

Survivors are her daughters, Dinah Y. Shirley of Fayetteville and Catherine (Kay) Young of Atlanta, a grandson, R. Max Shirley of College Park, brothers, Richard M. Stewart of Valdosta, William E. Stewart of Alpharetta; and many loving nieces, nephews and sisters in law.

A graveside memorial service is planned for 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 18, 2006 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Reverend Thomas Mason officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to College Park First United Methodist Church 3726 E. Main Street, College Park, Georgia, 30337.
