Brent Scott Lavender

Brent Scott Lavender, 40, of Suwanee, passed away suddenly on August 19, 2017. Brent was born on September 2, 1976 in Hahira to Rebecca Powers Williams and the late Pete Lavender. He was an outdoorsman who loved nature and travelling to the beach and the mountains. He enjoyed skateboarding and teaching boys to fish.
Brent is survived by his wife Sharon Lavender; his two sons, Leiland Lavender and Cayden Lavender, all of Suwanee; his four sisters, Tammy (Ronald) Castleberry of Valdosta, Tracy (Vernon) Moore of Sylvester, Toni Bradford of Valdosta, Lisa (Ed) Walker of Albany; his mother and step father, Rebecca and Buddy Williams, his nephews and niece, Jason (Emily) Castleberry, Missy Boyd, Justin (Ashlyn) Castleberry, Kevin (Tiffany) Bradford, Hank (Kassie) Moore, Michael Moore and Colby Bryan, his sisters-in-law Catherine Polk, and Alicia Jones . He was preceded in death by his father.
A funeral service for Brent will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Kevin Bradford, Rev. Andy Pearson, and Mr. Colby Bryan officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
