Bobby Maine

Bobby Maine, 63, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, October 22, 2020 in Valdosta, from injuries sustained from an occupational accident. He was born on August 14, 1957 in Clinch County to the late Eddie and Mamie DeLoach Maine. Bobby was a tree surgeon and was of the Baptist faith. Bobby was an individual who loved to laugh, make others laugh, tell a good joke or story, and fishing. All who ever came in contact with him, knew of his warmth and simplicity but also of his care and love for his family.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Jill Maine of Lake Park; his granddaughter, Harper Maine also of Lake Park; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Gerald Fussell of Valdosta, Bonnie and Kenneth Lowery of Cartersville, Sandra and Frank Reifel, and Janet and Allen McDowell all of Blue Ridge, Margie and Bucky Davis of Lakeland, numerous loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters Frances Jarrard, Jean Davis, Eloise Helton, and one brother Edward Maine.
Services for Bobby Maine will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Castleberry officiating. The burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery.
