Bobby Byrd

Bobby Byrd, 54 of Valdosta, died on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at a local nursing home. Born on September 29, 1950 in Florala, AL, he was the son of John and Edna Byrd of Valdosta. He was a member of Redland Baptist Church.

Other survivors are his sister, Rebecca Barnes of Valdosta; niece and her husband, Reese and John Green of Valdosta; and great nieces and nephew, John Riccio Green, Marianne Green and Catherine Green.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2004 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Jay Watkins officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Redland Baptist Church.
