Beverly L. Lanier, 91, of Valdosta, Georgia peacefully passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026. Born on July 20, 1934, in Ona, Florida, Hardee County, Beverly was the beloved daughter of the late Margaret Raksanyi Lefebvre and Joseph Lefebvre.
Beverly was the loving wife of Carl R. “Bloss” Lanier for 70 years, and a devoted mother to her four sons: Timothy Lanier of Maitland, Florida; Jeffery Lanier of Hahira, Georgia; Robert Lanier (Nancy) of Melbourne, Florida; and Michael Lanier (Sally Palmi) of Gainesville, Florida. She was deeply cherished by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
A respected realtor, she was President of the Valdosta Board of Realtors in 1983, Realtor of the Year in 1982, and Board of Director Committee Chairman for Realtor-Builder Relations in 1981. She was also the Chairman of Fundraising for American Diabetes Association.
Beverly was a faithful and active member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, where her commitment to her faith was evident throughout her life. She found great joy in her family, especially in spending quality time with her grandchildren. Beverly’s passions included traveling, and cooking, through which she enriched the lives of those around her with warmth and generosity.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Peggy Hollingsworth and Madeline Hayden, and brother, Donnie Lefebvre.
Her family invites all who knew and loved Beverly to join them in celebrating her life at a funeral mass at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. at 11:00 a.m. The service will be led by Father Esteban Mallar. She will be laid to rest at Joshua Creek Cemetery in Arcadia, Florida, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
