Betty Williams

Betty Crews Williams, 85, of Valdosta, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Fellowship Home at Brookside. She was born on February 24, 1937, in Statenville, to the late Roy and Trudy Herndon Crews. She was a homemaker and was passionate about her family, gardening, and her church. Mrs. Williams was a member of Lake Park Church of God.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Calvin Dewayne and Misty Williams, of Clyattville; son, Jason Wycliffe Williams, of Clyattville; her grandsons, Auston Williams and Caleb Williams, both of Clyattville; a loving step-daughter, Janet Williams Pattilo; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wycliffe Williams, and two brothers and three sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Don Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Jasper, FL, with Rev. Steven Witt. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2pm.
