Bessie Amanda King

Bessie Amanda King, 90, of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born on February 6, 1931, in Atlanta Mr. and Mrs. Adams. Mrs. King had worked with various companies and organizations in Valdosta from Crackin’ Good Bakery, Dowling Bag, Downing’s Diner, and the Valdosta Daily Times just to name a few. Growing up during the depression era, she understood hard work, commitment, and sacrifice. Throughout her life, she sought to instill these life lessons into her friends and family. She is survived by numerous loving family members who cherish her memory and influence on each individual she touched.
