Barton Dean Baggett

Dr. Barton Dean Baggett, 46, of Valdosta, died suddenly on Sunday, March 22, 2009. Lifetime resident of Valdosta, Dr. Baggett was born on August 31, 1962, the son of Alice Amos and the late Lawrence Baggett. He was a Dr. of Podiatry and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Annette Underwood Baggett, son, Tyler Baggett, daughter, Victoria Baggett, mother, Alice Amos Baggett all of Valdosta; step children , Rayne Dickerson, Emily Dickerson, Aaron Presley all of Temple, Texas; brothers, Dr. Clark and Donna Stull of Macon, Larry Baggett of Valdosta; nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, Pat and Sandra Davis of Valdosta, Jean and Chuck Herns of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Amos and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Baggett.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
