Barry Lee Robinson, 69, of Hahira, died on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Langdale Hospice House following a period of declining health. He was born on May 26, 1955, in Rome, Georgia to the late Olin and Betty Sansom Robinson. Mr. Robinson was retired from the grocery retail business having last served as Vice-President of Harvey’s Supermarkets. He later became the owner/operator of the Huddle House in Hahira. Mr. Robinson was a member of the Forrest Park Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Robinson of Hahira, a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Rebekah Robinson of Valdosta; his daughter, Lauren Robinson of Hahira; grandchildren, Marlie Robinson, Ayden Dykes, Gavin Robinson, and Ella Robinson; a brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Morgan Robinson of Pensacola, Florida. He was preceded by a brother, Ted Robinson.
Services for Barry Lee Robinson will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024, at the Forrest Park Church of Christ with Mr. Doug Daugherty officiating. The burial will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
