Barbara Janet Rudy

Barbara Janet Rudy, 72, of Valdosta, died on Sunday, April 23, 2006, at the Fellowship Home. Born on June 9, 1933 in Experiment, GA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd A. and Selma Park Buffington. She was a retired Administrative Assistant with ITT. Mrs. Rudy was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are her husband, John H. Rudy of Valdosta; sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Midori Rudy of Denver, CO; Griffin Rudy of Valdosta; daughter, Linda Long of Valdosta and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be a 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2006 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
