Aubrey Johnston Stump, Jr.

Aubrey Johnston (John) Stump, Jr., 55, died Saturday morning, November 25, 2006. A native of Valdosta, John was the son of the late Aubrey and Elizabeth Stump. He was the owner of Lowndes Roofing and served as president of the National Roofers Association of Georgia.

He is survived by his daughters, Laura (John) Washnock ; Jennifer Stump; grandchildren, Aubrey and Aidan Washnock; sisters, Shirley (Evan) Miller and Linda Durgin; brother, Tom (Jan) Stump; uncle, Dr. Robert L. Stump; Jania Klein, all of Valdosta; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 27, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Reverend Craig Rikard will officiate. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
