Arthur B. Bowles, III was born in Wilmington, North Carolina, to Arthur and Dorothy Bowles, with whom he shared a close and loving bond. Arthur was born on June 28th, 1962, he lived to age 63. As a young man, Arthur moved to Valdosta, Georgia, where he began his career working alongside his father as a painter.

Later, Arthur took the role of Warehouse Manager for Ashley Furniture, where he was known for his dedication and reliability. In 2019, he reunited with a longtime friend, Becky Brewer, who became his beloved wife. Together, they shared a joyful life with their two dogs, Dunkin, a Labrador mix, and Pepper, a Dachshund-Terrier mix, who were very much a part of their family.

Arthur was a simple man who found great happiness in the outdoors. He had a remarkable green thumb and loved tending to his garden, nurturing plants with ease and care. He also enjoyed fishing and spending quiet moments by the water, soaking in the warmth of the sun on his face. Arthur was associated with the LDS faith, which was part of his background.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Bowles of Valdosta, GA; his mom Dorothy Bowles of Valdosta, GA; two sons, Alexander Bowles and Carl Bowles, both of Valdosta; one daughter, Desiree and Christopher Hyatt of Charleston, South Carolina; three brothers, Shawn Bowles and his wife Anna, Terry Bowles, and John Bowles, all of Valdosta; one sister, Tina Bowles of Valdosta; and seven grandchildren.

Arthur was preceded in death by his daughter, Grace Bowles, and his dad, Arthur Bowels.
