Annie Earl (Ann) Kinsey

Ann Kinsey, 80, of Statenville, died on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Lakehaven Nursing Home after a short illness. Born in Colquitt County, Georgia she was the daughter of Bertie Lee Davis and the late Edward E. Davis. Mrs. Kinsey had been associated with Levi Strauss for over 30 years. She was a member of Statenville Church of God.

Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Donna and Gary Evans of Howell, three sons and daughters in law, Daryl and Beverly Kinsey of Howell, Charles and Nancy Kinsey of Valdosta, Mark and Dorothea Kinsey of Lake Park; five grandchildren, Jennifer Kinsey, Kevin Joyce, Lee and Shalae Kinsey, Tony Kinsey, Rebecca Kinsey; two greatgrandchildren, Dylan Daugharty and Masie Kinsey; her mother, Bertie Lee Davis of Statenville. Mrs. Kinsey was preceded in death by her husband, Leon T. (Punk) Kinsey, two sisters, Mona Sirmans and Dorothy (Dot) Fennell and two grandsons, Kerry and Derry Kinsey.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2008, at eleven a.m. at the Statenville Church of God. Reverend R. M. Warren and Reverend Jaime Register will officiate. Burial will follow at the Statenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 4 – 6 p.m. Mrs. Kinsey will lie in state at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until service time.
