Anna Ruckdeschel Winham

Anna Ruckdeschel Winham, 96, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Heritage Health Care after a short illness. Born in the Bronx, New York, on October 29, 1915, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie Wersbensky Ruckdeschel. Widow of the late Chester Winham, she was a Lutheran. Mrs. Winham was a wonderful homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors are her daughters, Ann Rofulowitz of Freehold , New Jersey and Linda Grant of Kalispell, Montana; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; and an adopted granddaughter, Liza McAleer.
A memorial service for Mrs. Winham will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Chaplain Sandra McDowell will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time.
