Ann Amelia Brown, 65, of Valdosta died on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born on May 5, 1945 in Algona, Iowa to the late Glen and Ada Rike and has been a resident of Valdosta since 1982. She was a homemaker and loving mother.
She is survived by five children, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers and one sister. She was preceded in death by a daughter and her husband, Michael Brown.
In accordance with her wishes, Ann Brown will be cremated and no local services are scheduled. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Hospice of South Georgia and asks that memorial donations be made to the organization.
