Angus Terrell Watson Jr., 74, of Lake Park, Georgia, died on Saturday May 2, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on February 7, 1952 to the late Angus Terrell Watson Sr. and Kathryn Lolita Byrd Watson.

Mr. Watson loved to go fishing, watch western movies, and sing karaoke. He was an avid FSU football fan, and loved to spoil his dog, Little Man.

He is survived by his children, Angus “Terry” (Kimberly) Watson III of Muscle Shoals, AL, Ricky (Leeann) Watson, Tiffany Watson, both of Valdosta, GA, and Elizabeth Nicole (Daniel) Stevens of Pinetta, FL; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and two sisters, Wanda Cunrod and Betty Phillips. He is preceded by his parents; a sister, Kay Alexander; and a brother, Al Bradshaw.

Mr. Watson’s family will welcome friends for a visitation at the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 6 from 5 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclanecares.com.
