Angie Culbreth, 62, of Valdosta, died on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at South Georgia Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was born on August 27, 1962, in Goldsboro, North Carolina to the late Robert Buchheit and Karen Seely Buchheit. Angie was a retired accountant with Valdosta State University and a member of the First Christian Church of Valdosta. She was an avid Blazer’s fan, loved flowers and traveling with her family, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Neal Culbreth of Valdosta; two daughters and a son-in-law, Miranda and Taylor Stubbs of Valdosta and Shelby Culbreth of Valdosta and her boyfriend, Cody Mason of Hahira; her mother, Karen Buchheit of Lake Blackshear, Georgia; her sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Jay Smith of Lake Blackshear, Georgia, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members. Angie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Buchheit, grandparents Madge and Murel Seely and Julius and Mary Buchheit, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Faye Culbreth.

Services for Angie Culbreth will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. John Chick officiating. The burial will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
