Aldean (Dean) Dukes, Jr.

Aldean (Dean) Dukes, Jr., 61, of Valdosta, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of Valdosta, born on November 22, 1961 to the late Aldean Franklin Dukes, Sr. and Doris Herman Dukes. He was a 1979 graduate of Lowndes High School where he had played the trumpet. His avid love for music grew from his time in the Georgia Bridgemen and continued throughout his life. Dean enjoyed playing his keyboards and traveling. His dog Jade was his pride and joy.

Dean is survived by his stepmother, Ann M. Dukes, of Valdosta; brother, Michael Bradford, of Valdosta; brother, Steve Bradford, of Valdosta; nephew Ben Bradford, of Valdosta; niece Sarah Ann (Trevor) Scarborough, of Valdosta; sister Joley Black, of Valdosta; and brother Mark Davis, of Valdosta, and sister Sonia Davis. He was preceded in death by his birthmother and his parents.
