While living in California, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. A resident of Brooks County for the past 26 years, she was baptized on April 10, 1983 and was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Quitman. During her time of illness she was blessed with the comforting love of her church family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Billy G. Rentz of Quitman; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Lisa Rentz of Atlanta; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Candice Rentz of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Gary Rowe of Valdosta; five grandchildren, Caroline, Catherine, and Rebecca Rentz of Atlanta; and, Garrett and Wesley Rowe of Valdosta; four step-grandchildren, Jeff and Nick Palombo of Valdosta; and, Ryan and Justin Rowe of Knoxville, TN; one brother, Jimmy Corbett of Valdosta; two sisters, Barbara Benton of Greer, SC and Shirley Newton of Hahira; numerous nieces and nephews.
