Willie J. Wetherington

Willie J. Wetherington, 76, of Thornton, Colorado died Sunday, October 2, 2011. He was born in Cook County on April 11, 1935 to the late Fred W. and Lessie Register Wetherington and was reared in Hahira. He was a graduate of Hahira High School and was retired as a manager in the retail industry.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Wells Wetherington of Thornton, CO., three daughters and sons in law, Tonya and Dan Tyson of Savannah, Terri and Lee Freeman of Longwood, Fla., Lori and Tom Bogan of Longmont, CO., seven grandchildren, Emily Tyson, Gabrielle Roberts, Ashlyn Tyson, Lauren Freeman, Eric Freeman, Wesley Bogan and Savannah Bogan, one great grandson, Jackson Roberts, two brothers and sisters in law, Virgil and Catherine Wetherington of Brunswick, Bobby and Brenda Wetherington of Valdosta.
