William Palmer “Bill” Cohen, 59, of Black Mountain, NC, died Friday, January 25, 2008 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC after a lengthy illness. He was born in Miami, FL on August 9, 1948 and was an automobile sales representative.

Mr. Cohen is survived by his parents, Eugene E. and Lee Cohen of Miami, FL, two sisters and brothers in law, Marghy and Joe Smothers and Anne and Larry Morts of Valdosta, one niece, Lee Smothers of Valdosta, one nephew, Justin Smothers of Valdosta, aunt and uncle, Don and Jeanne Cohen of Bonita Springs, FL and special companion and caregiver, Louise Flemming of Black Mountain, NC.

A memorial service will be held in Black Mountain, NC. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at mclanefuneralservices.com.
