Willa Dean Deacon Lineberger

Willa Dean Deacon Lineberger, 81, of Valdosta died on Monday, July 14, 2008, at Hospice House in Valdosta. Born in Mayday on March 19, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John Wright Pierce and Margaret Tomlinson Pierce. Mrs. Lineberger was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. She was a home care provider and she loved dancing, gardening and country music.

Survivors are her children, Gail Diana Deacon of Valdosta, John Raymond Deacon of Atlanta, Bonnie Deborah Robinson of White Bluff, Tennessee, H. Stephen Deacon of Valdosta, H. Allen Deacon of Valdosta; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren: sister, Verna Cornelius of Statenville, brother, Eugene Pierce of Statenville; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelton Lineberger, brothers, John W. Pierce, Jr., and William Pierce.
