Wallace Junior Smith

Wallace Junior "Pete" Smith, 77, of Valdosta, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at his residence. Born in Walnut Cove, North Carolina to the late William David Smith and Lonia Lofton Smith, he had lived in this area for the past 25 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, retired as a salesman for Maverick Building Supply and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his son, Jamey Smith (Wendy) of Valdosta; special friend Mary Joe Dale, of Valdosta; and grandson J. D. Smith of Valdosta; also surviving is a brother Woody Smith of Shreveport, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers; Willie Mae Smith Harris, Estell Smith Dillon, William Smith Robert W. Smith, Lee Roy Smith and Walt Smith.
