Vera Susan Reiter

Vera Susan Reiter, 62, of Valdosta, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020. She was born on July 10, 1958 to Levera Futch Allen and the late James Henry Allen. Mrs. Reiter loved to paint, sew, and garden. She loved her family and was a mother to all. She was married for 40 years to Keith Edward Reiter. She worked with mentally and physically handicapped persons with ResCare for 28 years. She loved her Lord and Savior and was a member of Southern Baptist Eastern Heights in Statenville, GA.
Mrs. Reiter is survived by her husband Keith Edward Reiter, of Valdosta; her son, Christopher Ryan (Camille) Reiter, of Savannah, GA; her grandchildren, Amelie Grey Reiter and Harlan Jett Reiter, both of Savannah, GA; her mother, Levera Allen, of Valdosta; her brother, Jon (Christy) Allen, of Valdosta; and sister, Rhonda Jane, of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her father, James Henry Allen, and brothers James Leary Allen, Alfred Newton Allen.
A memorial service for Mrs. Reiter will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Schappaugh officiating.
