Uma Sharma

Uma Sharma, 86, passed away Wednesday August 28, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center after battling a lengthy illness. She was born on June 1, 1933 in New Delhi, India to the late Dr. De and Derki Sharma. Uma had been a resident of Valdosta for the past 25 years. She was a homemaker and loving wife to her late husband Dr. K.D. Sharma.

Survivors include her daughters and sons in law, Poonam and Sudhir Goel, Pradeep Paul, Sangeeta and Kamal Gambhir, Vibha and Anil Arora; her grandchildren, Ankur and Heidi, Hitika and Prateek, Ankita and Prateek, Anu, Manvi, Antriksh, and Arjnn; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Miraya, Mishka, Aiden, Ariya. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jyott Paul.
