Triston Kyle Braswell

Triston “Kyle” Braswell, 24, passed away on August 2, 2020, at 4:26 a.m. at South Georgia Medical Center. Kyle was born in Valdosta on April 5, 1996.

Kyle was a very compassionate young man who was determined to live his life his way with forgiveness and kindness to the ones he loved and those who loved him.
He was a self-taught guitarist and loved to write songs of his life and adventures, which were shared with his family members and friends. He was a strong-willed soul when life presented him with challenges most could not handle. He will be in our hearts forever and missed terribly.
Survivors are his parents, Nancy and Don Boatwright and Don, Jr., John and Tonya Braswell; brothers, Christopher, Peyton and Trevor Braswell; other family members include, cousins, Megan Ricks, Caitlyn Ricks, Brandon Ricks and Haylie Ricks; aunts and uncles, Laura and Mitch Cothron and family, Eric and Alicia Ricks; his grandmother, Donna Martin; great uncles and great aunts, John Fletcher, Jr., Wanda and Bobby Dan Tomlinson and family, Janet Register and family.
A private family gathering will be held at the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Thursday, August 6, 2020. A graveside memorial will be held at a later date. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
