Tracy Lynn Barrett

Tracy Lynn Barrett, 38, of Quitman, died on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Born to the late Vicky Rhames Carter and James William Barrett, Jr. in Hahira on November 2, 1968, she was a homemaker and had attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors are her daughter, Cegee Bennett, her son, Bryan Brown, her grandchildren, Haley Padgett, Natrielle Bennett, Dalton Brown all of Quitman; her father and his fiancé, James William Barrett, Jr. and Belinda Barden of Valdosta; her brothers and sisters and their spouses, James W. III and Sherry Barrett of Valdosta, Michelle Williams of Quitman, Shawn and Cassie Barrett of Quitman, William Jason Barrett of Valdosta; step sister, Jessica Wilson of Hahira, step brother, Eric Boyd of Valdosta; close friend, Paul Derkowski of Quitman, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. and also following the service.
