Thomas Carroll (Hutch) Hutchinson

Thomas Carroll “Hutch” Hutchinson, Jr., 51 of Valdosta, died on Sunday, June 11, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born on July 23, 1954 in Columbus, GA and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Hutchinson was a carpenter in the construction business. He loved to fish, loved his family and especially loved being grandfather to his grandchildren.

Survivors are his wife, Teresa Hutchinson of Valdosta; stepsons and their wives, John and Stacey Halley of Valdosta, Brooks and Jessie Gioa Halley of Quitman, Anthony Halley and Matthew Halley both of Valdosta; his son, Trey Hutchinson of Valdosta and his daughter, Dawn Patterson of Atlanta; his mother, Ann Hutchinson of Valdosta; father and stepmother, Tom and Rose Hutchinson of Valdosta; brother, W. D. Hutchinson and sister and brother-in-law, Jeannie and Bruce Griffin all of Valdosta; grandchildren, Nicholas Halley, Lacey Halley and Austin Halley all of Valdosta and Hayden Patterson of Atlanta; stepbrothers and their wives, Brian and Rhonda Walker of Valdosta, Russell and Chasity Walker of Quitman and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Interment services will be held at a later date.
