Talley Newmans

Talley Newmans, 89, of Valdosta, GA passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Newmans was born on August 13, 1926 in Atkinson County, GA to the late John Newmans and Maggie Hall Newmans. He spent many years as a carpenter. Mr. Newmans enjoyed his profession very much and passed down his trade to his son and grandsons. In his last few years his favorite thing was to spend time with his great grandchildren, watching them play and to tell people about the Lord and how excited he was about getting to go home to Heaven.
Mr. Newmans was preceded in death by his wife of sixty nine years, Mrs. Ruth Crosby Newmans as well as their son and daughter in law, Donnie and Sandra Newmans, his two brothers, Williams Newmans and Johnny Newmans. He is survived by his daughter, Faye Brooks, his sister, Mary Lou Dougan, his grandchildren, Joe and Heather Newmans, Derrick Sumner, Wade and Brandi Sumner and Jade and Shane Parramore, his great grandchildren, Aubrey Brooks, Trenton Brooks, Jaylin Brown, Josh Brown, Cash Sumner, Aubryn Parramore and Tristan Parramore, several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Newmans was very loved and will be greatly missed. He requested for his family not to have a viewing or any kind of funeral service. The family thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
