Stephen Alexander (Alex) Harnage

Stephen Alexander (Alex) Harnage, 30, of Hahira died Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Hahira on January 8, 1990, a son of Charles Stephen Harnage and Sherree Gibbs Browning and had lived in Hahira. Alex was a member of the Hahira Church of God and employed with Cardinal Glass in Adel. He was an optimistic person with a contagious laugh. Alex was a loving husband, son, brother and person. He always kept his faith in God and saw the good in the world.
Survivors include his wife and best friend, Amber Harnage of Hahira; his father, Steve and Kim Harnage of Barney; his mother, Sherree and Allen Browning of Lakeland; his mother in law, Victoria Southerland of Valdosta; his paternal grandfather, Rev. Leonard Harnage of Hahira; siblings and their spouses; Brandon Harnage of Clyattville, Kyle and Kelsey Browning of Naylor, Abby Harnage of Naylor, KayLeigh and Hunter Hall of Nashville, Tanner and Savannah Harnage of Clyattville, Blake and Ashlee Goolsby, Brandon and Chae Goolsby, Austin Goolsby, Colin Goolsby all of Barney; sister in law and brothers in law, Heather and Jake Harris of Valdosta, Trey Southerland of Hahira; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marian Harnage, maternal grandparents, Benny and Alice Gibbs, father in law, Tracy Southerland.
Funeral services will be held at 10am, Saturday, August 15, 2020 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with burial to follow in the Fellowship Cemetery.
