Shirley Chastain "Nina" Aultman

Shirley Chastain "Nina" Aultman, 79, of Lake Park, GA passed away on July 4, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Macon, GA on March 15, 1936 to the late George Stokes and Jessie Mae Chastain. Mrs. Aultman was retired from Robins Air Force Base where she was the secretary to the base commander. After retiring she returned to Lake Park with her late husband. Nina, as she was affectionately known, loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping, dancing, the gym, and the company of her many friends in the "Sassy Senior Society". In her spare time she liked to bake and cook, she even published her own cook book. Nina was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Lake Park.

Survivors include her three children, Mike and Bonnie Aultman of Seymour, TN, Marla and Harold Guess of Palm Coast, FL, Tim and Diane Aultman, of Lake Park, GA; seven grandchildren, Kristi Guess of Orange Park, FL, Stephen and Nancy Guess DeLand, FL, Nikki and Shane Howell of Lake Park, Heather and Kyle Scott of Clinton, TN, Ashley and Melvin Bean of Fountain City, TN, Brooke and Staten Levings of Fargo, GA, Tyler Aultman of Lake Park, GA; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a large group of extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Pop" Aultman, and a sister, Joyce Crawford.

Funeral Services for Shirley "Nina" Aultman will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Carson McLane Chapel. The Rev. Carlton Allen will officiate.
