Sally I. O'Neal

Sally I. O’Neal of Valdosta, GA, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019, at the age of 81. Born on September 21, 1937, Sally graduated from Valdosta High School, Valdosta State College with a bachelors in Elementary Education, and Florida State University with a masters in Library Science. She taught elementary school in Atlanta and Valdosta, and retired as a librarian from Valdosta State University.

Throughout most of her life, Sally attended First United Methodist Church in Valdosta.

Sally is survived by her sisters, Judy O’Neal Newkirk (Wayne) of Jacksonville, FL, and Nancy O’Neal Waltman (Rodney) of Port Charlotte, FL, nieces Blair and Tracey, nephews Billy, Greg and Jeff, and several great nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ada Belle Cunningham O’Neal and Gordon Vance O’Neal, and her sister, Linda O’Neal Guillebeau.

Sally’s family would like to express their appreciation for the love and care provided by the staff and her friends at Fellowship Home.
